Miami Lakes is mostly planned single-family and townhouse streets around a small downtown on Main Street. The water calls look like suburban slab work: tank leaks on the garage platform and toilet overflow cleanup in single-family homes that ran under the hall vinyl.
Cast iron is less of a theme here than in 1920s Coral Gables, because much of Miami Lakes was built later. Supply lines, heaters, and AC condensate are the usual sources. We still meter the next room. Slab water travels.
